The purpose for this event is to expose new cutting edge indie horror films while providing an accessible platform for horror fans to view the films.

Registration: April 24 - June 28
Early Bird Nomination Special: April 24 - May 24 (see below for more info)
Judges Announced: June 29
Fans Vote: August 31 - October 15
Date of Awards Show: Friday October 30, 2015
Judges will view all entries and nominate favorites for submission to the event. Judges will select no more than 7, no less than 3 nominations per category.

Any film that receives distribution after being accepted into the awards show will need permission from the distributor to be shown to the public. A written/signed agreement from distributor will need to be sent to Anthony Picerno at anthony.picerno@gmail.com
The Charred Remains Fans' Choice Awards (CRFCA) is an online event, for which a special viewing website will be setup to view nominated films and shorts, or in the case of a new film, special screenings of the trailer by the producer/director/writer, for the period of time mentioned above in order for the fans to view before they vote. An online ballot will be created on dates mentioned above.
